Water

Water is an essential ingredient for life. Unfortunately what you see is what you get, there is no current feasible method of creating new sources of water. So it is imperative that we use what we have wisely.

Water is called the universal solvent because it dissolves more substances than any other liquid. This allows water to transport nutrients and minerals wherever it travels.

Water is unique. It occurs naturally in three states: solid, liquid and gas.

Water recycles itself through a continual process.

Evaporation: Water changes from liquid to gas.

Transpiration: Water is released from plant leaves

Condensation: Water changes from vapor to liquid

Precipitation: Water returns to earth as rain

Unfortunately what we do to it while it is in its liquid state can be harmful to us and our environment.
